elizabeth: Some people might think that we are a little discouraged since Ms. Winfrey has not gotten back to us  yet. Well, I know that when she gets wind of all the time and effort we are putting into getting on the cover of O that she will contact us. She has got to be curious, right? Now we oprah-ellen-december-cover don’t have the budget that Ellen has nor do we have our own show, we don’t have the press waiting for us to do something silly, and yet we persevere. Let that be a lesson to all of you. And if you hear from her, please let her know that we are willing to drop everything and fly out to Chicago. Of course, Ms. Winfrey will have to pick up the tab. We are coaches. We seem to work for free nowadays.

Laurie: Hey, are you forgetting Coach World TV? And what about Coaches on the Edge Blog Talk Radio Show? We come bearing some goodies. Maybe not as many as Ellen, but we didn’t just crawl out of a prehistoric cave. Au contraire. I’m not saying Oprah would be lucky to get us on her cover. Now if you all want to say that, you go right ahead. We are going to hunt down her personal email any day now. Let us not forget that Manhattan rules! And if I remember correctly (and I usually almost always do), Ms. O produced one of her shows from the Big Apple. Oprah, the door is always open for you.

elizabeth: Now that it is getting colder in Chicago and the wind off the lake is preparing to sting and chap Oprah’s delicate skin, I could offer Oprah and a friend of her choice a three-night stay at my house. We are about five blocks from the beach but it’s off season so no need to bring bathing suits. We do have a hot tub but Ms. W. won’t be able to do laps in it. Trust me. My double vision took six months to clear up. My husband is an ex-chef so you know we won’t starve. We have a pretty good music collection and my cats would love to sit and purr on her lap. If it’s not too freaky, I might curl up right next to her and ask her what day our TV show will be on her OWN network. Yes, it might be too freaky.

Laurie: IF it’s not too freaky? And you’re worried that I’ll start rhyming?
