elizabeth: I was on Oprah’s site today and I saw this piece on never getting another bad haircut. Well, I think I have a “mullet –lite” cut right now. Did I just say that? Well, let’s say it does not seem to be my best look, but I promise you, Oprah, that I will get a cut that will emphasize my best features when it is time for us to get on the cover of O magazine. As soon as I determine my best feature. Should we
have a contest to have your millions of fans select my best side? It better not be me walking away.
Laurie: That would mean your butt is your best side – you wish.
elizabeth: I am still smarting from outing myself with a mullet-lite” cut. Okay, the back is a little longer, but I had lunch with three men on Thursday and they all said my hair looked great. Could it be that they follow Billy Ray Cyrus? Do I not even know those closest to me? Is my life a total sham?
Laurie: Oprah, I apologize for elizabeth running on about her haircut. If I’ve learned anything from my ANTM (America’s Next Top Model) idol Tyra, it’s that a model has to be ready for anything and any sacrifice. So bring on the shears, the dye, the extensions, and whatever innovative hair item you can think of. This half of Coaches on the Edge is ready.
elizabeth: Oprah, I know I will feel so much better once we are sitting with you and picking our best feature to show to the camera and the world. BTW- Laurie’s got the cutest feet. Not sure how that will work but maybe we’ll have to go with a gatefold layout.
Laurie: WTH is a gatefold layout? I draw the line at porno even for you Ms. Winfrey.

heart-filled note from his almost-adoptive mother saying she had changed her mind. I already question the policy of buying kids from other countries, but for purposes of this blog, let’s pretend I agree with this practice. Do kids come with a warranty? Wow, I know several parents who will be shocked to learn that. And pissed, because after years of struggles, confrontations, and disappointments, their child’s warranty has probably passed its expiration date.
Dream does not include being bullied to the point of taking one’s life. For the Prince family, it is exactly what their American nightmare is all about now.
