elizabeth: Hey, Oprah, Happy 10th Anniversary to you and O Magazine. You look great for being 10! What is 10 in magazine years?
Whatever. Coaches on the Edge are celebrating an anniversary also. It has been 26 weeks since we started our blog about being on the cover of O. A half year where we have made Wednesdays the day we let the world know that we are going to be on the cover of your magazine. You got to believe, right?
Laurie: Tell the truth, Oprah, isn’t it a little lonely on that big ole cover all by yourself? Sure you’ve asked Michelle Obama and Ellen DeGeneres to come over and play with you, but did they stick around? Noooooooooooooooooo. Now Coaches on the Edge are a whole different story. Sticking like crazy glue. Twenty-six weeks – need I say more?
elizabeth: So it’s been 10 years – 120 covers. I can do a little math in my head. 120 covers and no coaches on the edge on the cover? I have this really good feeling that before O hits its 11th year, that we shall be sitting or standing, looking provocative or playful on the cover with you. My psychic told me this and she never misses. Well, there was that one time, but the lawyers worked out a fair settlement.
Laurie: Please don’t mention lawyers when we write to Oprah. We don’t want to put any ideas in the heads of her security team. Sticking/stalking; determined/demented; honoring/harassing; thin lines, very thin lines.
