Laurie:  Oprah, it’s time for a new strategy.  What is the definition of insanity?  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different  imagesresults.  Well, Coaches on the Edge can take a hint (it may take us a while but we finally got it).  And maybe it was a little far-reaching to ask to be on the front cover of O Magazine.  We certainly have no illusions that we are on the same A List as Michelle Obama and Ellen DeGeneres.  But…are ya ready?…how about the back cover?  Yes, we are willing to downside our lifetime dream of being on the front cover of O Magazine and substitute it with Coaches on the Edge on the back cover.  Have you ever met two more accommodating gals in your whole life?

elizabeth: Now what sort of message are we sending to people out there? What you really want seems difficult and trying so give up? The silence of no response from Ms. Winfrey is starting to echo in our minds so now we are taking our dream of being on the cover of O and we are starting to compromise? I’m down with that. I think when life gives us roadblocks, we can make a sharp turn and discover a new way to get to our goals. Like in a mercedes that is no a loaner.

Laurie:  We beseech our fans who have been so supportive of us getting on the front cover to be doubly as loyal when appealing to you for our debut on the back cover.  Today the back cover, tomorrow who knows?  Patience (elizabeth) and Persistence (Laurie) – that’s us!

elizabeth: Do you know that research has shown that people first look at the front and back covers of a magazine? Kid you not. So when they pick up their copy of O and see Oprah on the cover, the reaction could be one of “there she is again. On the cover of her magazine. Looking lonely.”  And then they turn over O and there are two Coaches on the Edge smiling right back at them with 2 fingers up in the air. I will be giving the peace sign. Yes, those 2 fingers.

2010, Coaches on the Edge ™
